I do things a little different from these other blogs...While most hate. I appreciate. Im not perfect tho, and I will throw shade from time to time...only when it's necessary...
Where im at on the map Gucci Mane sits next to Jesus in the pulpit (let the people tell it), so I'm almost forced to listen to a Gucci playlist. I heard "Break Up" - Mario featuring rapper Gucci Mane and singer-songwriter Sean Garrett, before actually seeing the video and I thought the song was catchy.
Truthfully the only part of the song that I was listening to was the hook and the beat because I can never understand what Gucci Mane is saying...
Today I stubbled upon the video for the song and actually paid attention to the video and lyrics. And I'm thinking...Are these dudes saying if I'm showing you love, and taking care of you, but I have chicks on the side "Why would you wanna break up"?
Ummmm...Reguardless of what the meaning behind the song is. It got me thinking...that those are truely a man's thoguhts.
I mean les-b-honnesssst...Would a female really get away with saying this to her male counter-part? Doubt it.
I don't even know how I feel about this situation. There's not too many dudes I know that's actually trying to take care of a female finanically, or maybe there are and we haven't crossed paths yet.
If these types of males actually exsist... Shorty where you at? Im just sayin...
Last week, while performing at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, New Jersey., Hip-Hop's new young prince, Drizzy Drake stumbled upon(literally) yet another road block in his take off career.
While performing on stage (against doctor's orders) with his better half, Lil Wayne, rapper Drake collasped, re-injuring his knee(previously injured from basketball), after suddenly slipping on the right side of the stage. Within seconds, stagehands help him up and assist the badly limping MC offstage.
That looked like it hurt in a major way....
After his collapse Drizzy tweeted Miss Info (who was tweeting live from the tour) and his fans saying: We straight. Just to show that this ACL sh-- ain't a joke. Thanks for the support, and we'll be back ... Young Moola
All is well...On the bus laying down... Getting surgery this week but I'm walking. Thank my whole YM family for the help. Lion Hearts!
The next day Drake released a statement via a blogpost I embarked on this tour with a torn ACL, MCL, and LCL and due to the events that happened the other night lord only knows what other damage I have done,” Drake admitted on his blog yesterday (August 2). “On the bright side I will begin the reflecting and soul searching that its going to take to make this album and my outfit on the night I fell was crack. I will forever push myself beyond the limits despite advice and recommendations given because even with this new found success I am still the kid who wanted this more than anything in the world.
Drake's knee has been the butt of many jokes, and it even has its own page on twitter. Right Drake tweeted his fans, letting them know he was okay, a twitter page "Drakesknee" surfaced.
"Drakesknee" went on to tweet some funny verses about the incident.
Before I tripped I was the man/ Wish I was rappin' in some sand/ Now I never want to hear 'Fallin' by Alicia, man
And later tweeting Hip-hop's like an open sore/ But Weezy came and opened doors/ Don't worry bout my knee/ Worry if I lose my vocal cords
Most of these MCs really aren't even half of me/ In fact, besides God the only fear I have is gravity
Who ever is behind this is funny...lol
But what's even funnier is Lil Wayne's reaction to Drake's fall on stage. Check out Weezy's reaction in the video...
Drake has returned home to Toronto to recover from the injury, which will likely keep him off the remaining dates of the America's Most Wanted tour. Shout outs to Chris Brown for standing in for the homie Drizzy in VA this weekend.
WHAT IN THE HELL...So recently basketball star Stephon Marbury hopped on the bandwagon of celebrities trippin on the internet.
I've read dude has a few personal issues but after 2 and a half minutes of this shit I couldn't take it...and the fool in the background singing along with the song needs to be slapped.
Honestly this looked like a drunk night I'd had with my friends back when I was in college. I don't know, but he's gonna have to do better then this.
